YouTube Smackdown

OK, so I saw this posting on Rachel Lucas’ website back in July, but since I didn’t have a blog then I couldn’t pass it on to the two people that probably look at this little spot in cyberspace.

Essentially, this is what is going on, Terrorist’s, Jihadist’s, fucking pieces of shit, whatever you want to call them are posting videos of attacks on our troops on YouTube and it’s bullshit.  They are using the internet to spew their pathetic hate and it’s up to people like you and me to put a stop to it.  As Munnin put it:

Jihad has come to the Internet. And YouTube is helping them. We’re not saying they set out to, but that’s the result. Jihadist videos have found a home there. Our enemies are using that website, and others, to spread propaganda and recruit new terrorists. YouTube allows anyone to post anything and doesn’t take it down unless someone objects, at which point they might take it down. 

Well, we object. We object to YouTube making a profit hosting videos celebrating the death of Coalition Soldiers (and pretty much everyone else) while washing their own hands of any responsibility. We’re out to smack those videos down, and maybe shake a little sense into YouTube in the process.

How, you ask, can I help stop these little piece-of-turd terrorists??

Simple, says I.  All you have to do is this:

1. Create an account on YouTube so that you are able to flag videos for deletion for hate speech and violence
2. Go to the Operation: You Tube Smackdown website to view the list of terrorist videos they have found.
3. Go to the video and mark it as hate speech.
4. Rinse and repeat as often as necessary.

If we the people don’t stand up in whatever way we can to these monsters posing as humans, then we will eventually be crushed under by their hate.

The Giant Cream Puff

I just had some of the best food EVER this afternoon, I am not kidding. The wife and I went to lunch with a friend of ours from work who had suggested we eat at a place in German Village she knows about called Schmidt’s.  I had never heard of it because I never get around German Village all that often since I am on the other side of town, and now I am ashamed of myself for not going over there more.

They have absolutely the best German food I have ever tried.   I have been to Germany and Austria so it’s not like I haven’t had any from the source and if you like polka music you can go over on Thursdays and enjoy the music with your food.

The restaurant has been in the family since it opened in 1886 and they make all their own sausages and deserts there (a lot of places will order their deserts from a desert company I found out). 

The creampuff that the wife and I shared was at least half a pound, I swear it’s true.  It was so good we ordered a second one and brought it home for later – it’s in the fridge now and it’s taking all of my iron will to leave it there. 

OK, so this is a ‘guess what happened today’ post, but their food was SOOOOOO good I had to write about it.  And even better, they have a website that you can use to order your food for delivery!!!
