United We Stand

I don’t like being threatened.  I especially don’t like being told that if I do something that is totally leagal I will be killed because it is an “Insult to Islam” by the so called ‘religion of peace’.   Well, I say screw them.

In support of the Danish cartoonists who stood up to these terrorists with their art and with the arrest of five terrorists who are accused of plotting to kill Kurt Westergaard Michelle Malkin has asked us bloggers to do what our own newspapers won’t – show solidarity by re-publishing our favorite one of the cartoons on our site

I will not be intimidated by terrorist who attempt to use fear to silence our opposition to them.

I will not submit to a radical movement that considers it right to kill a daughter, wife or sister for “honor”.

I will not bow down before a group that would attempt to control what I do, what I say, and what I think by killing innocents with car bombs and use mentally handicapped people to move their sick agenda forward.

While we are told constantly that we must “respect Islam” and “respect their customs” all it seems we hear out of their side is “Death to the infidels” or “Death to those who insult Islam” or any number of other things they seem to get enraged about, including teddy bears or movies

I am not afraid and I will not submit.

Amazingly cool

Scientists have created a skin that can mimic real skin and sense hot and cold!!  Freaking amazing, but is such a great thing for people who need artificical limbs due to accident, birth or combat.

A new kind of artificial skin made from thin layers of polymers and carbon nanotubes could soon give patients and robots alike the sensation of hot, cold, and pressure.

They are also working on how to power it with a very small power source so it will all be self contained.

Thank god for our scientists and the freedom that we have here which allows this kind of research and discoveries.  I am in awe of the intelegence that these people have and the ability to bring this kind of idea to reality.  People sometimes look at my wife’s work or mine and say things like “Wow, you are so tallented!”  but these men and women who are doing this are the real talents we should be in awe of.

Now, once they have the arm perfected and everything, I wonder if they will integrated a cell phone into it, and maybe a hard drive as well - or maybe a Gameboy or PSP.   You know someone would want that, so don’t give me that look!

Why you should switch from T-Mobile

February 15th, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in Support the Troops, WTF

Go over to Rachel Lucas’ site and read this.  It is a prime example of one of the biggest problems with some of corporate America: Companies that don’t give a damn about the customer, just the customers cash and T-Mobile is aparently one of them.

No family should ever have to go through this kind of bullshit, especially in light of such a tragedy.  T-Mobile should be ashamed of themselves.

I would also encourage you to go to T-Mobile’s website and let them know of your displeasure at how they treat their customers.  The real power is in the hands of the consumer so maybe we should use it.

Oh, and if you can I would encourage you to donate to Texas Scottish Rite hospital too.

THIS is the guy the moonbats are voting for

Barack Obama’s campaign office in Houston has a Cuban flag hanging in it with a Picture of Che Guevara on it??  WFT!  I have seen a lot of stupid crap, but this one takes the cake.  So is Barrack wanting to be El Presidente or does he want to be the President of the United States of America?

the video of these shots is over on Little Green Footballs

For those of you who don’t know, or have been living on Mars for quite a few years (and contributing to it’s global warming… yea) Che Guevara, or just Che as he is know to his many fans, was a brutal butcher who tortured and killed thousands during his so-called revolution.  The moonbats love to portray him as some sort of romantic revolutionary and think that he is so much better a person that that evil white guy George Washington.

In the first months of 1959 Che Guevara presided over a prison called La Cabaña.  In this prison were people who were arrested for various reasons.  Former Batista military and police personnel, some journalists, a few businessmen and merchants.  Some were even there for the crime of being a Christian.

These prisoners were executed on Che Guevara’s orders – without trial, without a jury, without mercy.  According to most reports, in the first 6 months of 1959, the time that he was in charge of the prison, over 500 people were executed on his direct orders.

Now, I am going to assume that Obama himself didn’t just walk into the Houston office and hang those flags himself, but this does show the attitude of the people following him.  Either they are complete idiots (which is a real possibility) or they have decided to ignore the facts and romanticize the whole “people’s revolution” crap – read ’socialism’.

Either way, I don’t want this kind of person as president.  True, the president is a figurehead and it is congress that makes all the laws, but the president is the one who is responsible for defending our country and I don’t think he would do that, especially since it seems his people are in love with the enemy.

Guarantee that if Hillary or Obama get into office our troops funding will be slashed along with Border Patrol, Intelligence, and law enforcement.  Meanwhile we will have higher taxes, more inept social programs and a mass influx of illegals who will then demand the same rights as citizens without any of those pesky responsibilities like – oh – following the laws.

Rachael Lucas has some other links on this at her site.

Oh, and there’s this too – a nice shot of ‘Senator’ Obama not bothering to show common courtesy to the the National Anthem or the American flag by putting his hand over his heart – the civilian version of a salute to it – while it is being played.

Never thought I would say this, but I would prefer to have Hillary in the White House than this guy.
