The press seems to be going gaga over Mr Hopechange doing a fist bump with his wife. No, seriously.
It was the fist bump heard ’round the world.
As Barack Obama walked onstage in St. Paul, Minn., to claim the Democratic nomination Tuesday night, he and wife Michelle hugged and then, gazing into each other’s eyes with knowing smiles, gently knocked knuckles.
He also gave her a playful little pat on the butt, but it was the bump that got everyone talking. “That is the picture!” exulted one poster on the Jack and Jill Politics blog (which offers “a Black bourgeois perspective”). “When I saw them give each other dap, I was like ‘Hell yeah!’ “
Please… give me a freaking break. Because he did that he has ’street cred’?? I think it just shows that he is pandering to the crowd. I would bet dollars to doughnuts that when he was still going by Barry that he wasn’t doing fist bumps.
“But, Instinct, that was when he was having to play by you white people rules. Now he can be himself.”
Riiight, so he was a phony then going by Barry and now he is being the real deal? Well, if he is willing to change his name and how he acts in public for a vote, I can’t say that I really trust him.
I’m also tired of every time he does something the press swooning all over him and ready to spread their legs and have his baby. They seem to never notice when he doesn’t know how many states are in the union (It’s 50 Barry), has no clue about anything that happened in a church he went to for 20 years, doesn’t know the difference between Veteran’s day and Memorial day, and then (much to my amusement) calls a female reporter ’sweetie’ and they even love that.
Michelle Malkin has some video that sums it all up nicely
So I now have to wonder how they will spin it when he loses the election. I figure it will either be a) McCain stole the election; b) We are a bunch of racists who aren’t ready for ‘real change’; or c) it was a vast right wing conspiracy.
My vote says it will probably be all of the above
