Rupert Everett need’s to shut his hole

June 9th, 2008 Posted in People are Stupid

Saw this just the other day:

According to the U.K.’s Daily Mail, the 49-year-old gay actor — whose father is a retired major in the British Army — said the troops today “are always whining about the dangers of being killed. Oh my God, they are such wimps now!” he said.

Sure they are Rupert, so wimpy that they are out there in the fight while you are sitting on you ass and the closest you have ever been to combat is when you played Charles I in that low budget piece of crap “To Kill a King”.  How dare they worry about being killed.  Don’t they know that there are much more important things to worry about, like that next Shrek sequel or if you might get nominated for some crappy award or another.

Frankly, this statement shows that he fits perfectly in Hollywood.  Self centered, ignorant, and self absorbed but not letting any sort of facts get in the way of his own opinions.  To top it off, the smarmy little bastard lives in Germany so where is he hanging out with British troops anyway?

He also gave us this little gem as part of the interview as well:

Everett, whose films include “My Best Friend’s Wedding” alongside Julia Roberts and “The Next Best Thing,” has a history of making controversial remarks. Last week he described Americans as “whiny victims” whose entire language is taken from “Friends” and “Sex and the City,” the Mail reported.

Yes, and you are such a tough guy aren’t you?  How long did you serve?  Or better yet, have you done anything that has actually amounted to SERVING anyone but yourself throughout your life?  According to the bio I read all you have done is acting and screwing around.

So here is my suggestion to you Rupert.  Until you actually put your life on the line with the ‘lads’ you accuse of being wimps – shut the hell up.  And until you actually see America -and I mean the America outside of Hollywood, San Francisco, and New York City – shut the hell up.

Yes, you have a right to your opinion Rupert, but if you actually knew what you were talking about it would be different.  As it stands, you just another asshole farting into the wind.  By telling you to shut up I’m actually trying to help keep you from looking stupid as hell to the rest of the world.

***UPDATE***

Well, aparently his handlers showed him the error of his ways and he is appologizing now

“..My flippant and irresponsible behaviour arises from a deep frustration at the fact that we seem to be continually making war, dreaming up new ones, instead of doing everything we can to avoid them. Again I apologise without reserve to anyone who has been insulted by my remarks.”

Yea, how dare we defend ourselfs against terrorists and dictators.  We should do everything in our power to avoid wars – just like Neville Chamberlin did, right Rupert??
