Keeping it Classy on the Left

September 6th, 2008 | 8 Comments | Posted in Libtards, Loving the GOP

Yea, I know I said I was done with blogging and was probably going to take this site down, pack it away in a folder somewhere and just go on about my business but then (as always) life happens and Sarah Palin is now the VP Republican pick which brought back those old Regan feelings again and I found myself actually excited about voting this election.  I was still going to sit back and just let it go by, cast my vote and then listen to the wailing and gnashing of teeth when the Obama people lost.

Then the attacks started and I got a little ticked but since people like Rachel, Jennifer and Michelle were handling it fine I still just sat back and read the comments, had a beer and got a laugh out of it all. The liberals attacked Sarah Palin’s hairstyle, her children, her leadership experience, and even the fact that she was a beauty queen as if the fact that she is attractive means she has no brains. While that is true of Obama it is obviously not true of Sarah.

They are so scared of her that even Obama came out swinging at her declaring that he has more experience than she does, as if being in the Senate for two years (half of which he has been campaigning for President) equals the years that Palin was mayor of Wasilla and then Governor of Alaska. It amazes me that people are so stupid that they have actually bought into this argument, and besides, I thought Obama was running for President, not Vice-President? If he is going to start the attack runs about experience shouldn’t he attack the person he is running against? Oh wait; if he did that then he couldn’t site his ‘greater experience’ because he has none.

The last thing that pissed me off though is this from an Obama fundraiser:

If my daughter had just come home at 17 years old and said, ‘Mom, Dad, I’m pregnant, we have a family problem,’ I wouldn’t say, ‘You know what we’re going to do? We’re going to take this private family problem … I’m going to go on the international stage and broadcast it to the world’,” he said.

Gutman later added: “If you take a daughter who’s got this emotional strife and subject her to the most intense scrutiny of the world at this time in her life, I think you’ve put your career above your family.”

Well, let’s see, what piece of crap scumbags made it a point to drag Palin’s kids into the media light by making unsubstantiated accusations about the parentage of her youngest child? Who was it that also suggested that the reason for their youngest having Down’s syndrome was because of an incestuous relationship between her husband and oldest daughter?

Oh, it was the nut jobs over at the Daily Kos, otherwise known as the hit men for the radical left. So, the lefty trolls force the issue into the political area and they try and bash her about being open and honest with the press about it?  Nice way to pull a double standard down.

As for putting careers above family, what about Barack and Michelle putting their desire for the White house over their kids lives? Please tell me how that is any different than Palin being VP and her husband taking care of the kids- except that the Palins have more experience (parentally and professionally), aren’t ashamed of their country or bitter.

There’s no difference at all.

So, I guess for the good of Barack’s kids he should drop out of the race and put his family above his career. There would be no ‘intense scrutiny’ if the left would actually show a bit of class and leave Palin’s kids alone but that isn’t how they work. The left will attack anything and everything they can for any reason, real or imaginary, that they can think of.

Gutman called the teenage pregnancy a “pressure cooker” for the Palins, and also suggested her son’s Down syndrome should factor in to her decision.

“The proper attack is not that a woman shouldn’t run for vice president with five kids, it’s that a parent, when they have a family in need, a Down’s baby who needs them — a father or mother,” he said.

He said his argument had nothing to do with Palin being a woman.

“This wasn’t a working mother issue, this was a parent issue,” he said.

So, you can’t be a good parent for a child with needs and have a career as well then? So does that mean both parents have to stay home with the child at all times or only one parent (the non-working one) is a good parent and the other one is a selfish jerk? Or is just as I heard one co-workers say and that “Well, a child needs its mother and men just aren’t good at being parents.” I pointed out to her that according to her own statements a woman should be able to have a job and kids to which she replied “Well, this is different.”

Yea, because Sarah Palin is a conservative who did it all without the blessing of NOW.

Welcome to the future of politics in the USA. Double standards, insults, unproved accusations and the lefts “Do anything to win” attitude no matter how sleazy it may be. Oh, and on the ’sleaze’ front, we have this nice little hit job. I would recommend reading it on an empty stomach because it’s disgusting enough to make you start heaving.

**UPDATE**

New info on why Gutman wasn’t fired like Barack promised would happen if the family members were attacked by any of his staff members – turns out that Gutman raised more than $500,000 for the Obamunist.  You can read about it over here
