Eric Holder: Race Baiter

Eric Holder says that we are a nation of cowards, and for this one and only time I will probably agree with him but not for the reasons he thinks.

“Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and I believe continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards,” Holder said.
Race issues continue to be a topic of political discussion, but “we, as average Americans, simply do not talk enough with each other about race.”

I’ll agree that we must be cowards for not confronting this kind of race baiting politics for the bullshit it is.
All that was heard through the election was that if we didn’t vote for Obama we were racists. If we didn’t give home loans to people who didn’t have the income to afford them, it was racist. If we didn’t set up separate college entrance standards based on skin color rather than on their academic achievements.

I was in class with a girl who at one point started ranting on about ‘white privilege’ and how “Whitey has been keeping us out for too long”. I had to point out the absurdity of her argument to her since I was the only white person in the class of 20. Yea, I had used all my white privilege to keep my class lily white like snow.

The fact is most white people could give a shit less about race. We don’t care, really – unless of course that white person is a flaming liberal in which case they will be bending over backwards to prove that they are one with the cause and ready to ‘fight the man’.

What does the average conservative white person care about? We care about things like: Are you a decent person? Can you do the job I hired you for? Are you a crybaby, bullshitting, piece of garbage? We really don’t care about the color of your skin.

We do care if we are going to be screwed out of a job because of hiring quotas that, while originally to break down walls for minorities, are now used to force companies to hire people that may not be qualified for the position and are simply there BECAUSE of skin color – the very thing that we have been told to try and move past.

Race, Holder said, “is an issue we have never been at ease with and, given our nation’s history, this is in some ways understandable… If we are to make progress in this area, we must feel comfortable enough with one another and tolerant enough of each other to have frank conversations about the racial matters that continue to divide us.”

Because having a ‘frank conversation’, for the liberals who like to parrot this rhetoric, usually involves the left SCREAMING about racism while spewing hate, fake outrage, and double standards. I have had fellow students tell me with a straight face that there is no way they are racist because ‘only white people can be racist’ as if it is some sort of genetic condition.

So, Eric, if you want to have a talk about race then let’s do it and we will start with talking about shakedown artist Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson. But if you want it to be you lecturing me on how I’m an evil white person because I haven’t been racially sensitive enough in who I’ve become friends with then all I can say is that maybe you should shove off.  Maybe your time would be better spent investigating all those Democrats for their tax evasion and bribes instead of lecturing us on how we aren’t liberal enough for you.
