PETA shows their ass… again

September 29th, 2011 | No Comments | Posted in Libtards

PETA, who says that they are all about saving animals while at the same time killing most of the animals turned into their shelter, has a new billboard that they want to put up after a young man was almost killed by a shark.  This particular piece of BS that they have vomited out of their ass is of a shark eating a human leg.

Ashley Byrne, a spokeswoman for PETA, said the animal rights group is still trying to find a place to post the billboard in Manatee County after not finding any suitable locations in Anna Marie Island. She said PETA is in continuing talks with outdoor advertising companies to post the billboard, which features a bloody leg hanging out of a shark’s mouth.

“We’re still trying to find the best spot that would give maximum exposure at the best rates,” Byrne told FoxNews.com. “With the shark attack in the news, we thought it’d be a good time to remind people that sharks are not the world’s biggest predator — we are.”

Leave it to these bottom feeding wastes of humanity to immediately jump on someone’s pain an suffering to try and make a political point out of it.  How dare he go fishing!  He deserves what he got!!!

Byrne said the billboard is intended to save lives, both animal and human.

“We’re glad that Mr. Wickersham is going to be OK,” she said. “We hope that after this experience he considers the pain and terror that fish feel when they are impaled and suffocated to death.”

What about the pain, suffering and terror those 2,200 dogs and cats you put down last year felt?
PETA is just another bunch of “Do as I say, not as I do” wacko liberal nut jobs who should be curb stomped for being such a bunch of fucking scumbags.

Job Hunter!

September 29th, 2011 | No Comments | Posted in It's all about me, work is good

That’s right, I’ve put on my African safari outfit with the cargo shorts, my hat with the  big zebra striped hat band, loaded up ‘Betsy’ and grabbed my copy of “Heart of Darkness” and I am off!  I’m attempting to bag the big one, a job that will not only cover all the bills, but not have me waking up in the morning going “Is it the weekend yet?”

Don’t get me wrong, I am very, very grateful to have a job, and to have one that has medical benefits, but my problem is that the more I work at my current job the more I realize that management doesn’t really give a crap about anything BUT the numbers.  Everything to them is just another number.  If you are absent it is 10 points off your record, show up the whole week – +2, the whole month +15; If you are at 0 – your fired, no exceptions.

When I asked why a system was being put in charge of who is hired and fired instead of the persons manager I was told “We tried that and the managers weren’t doing what they were supposed to do.”

“So,” asks me,” why didn’t you fire the managers and get people in who would actually manage?”

Blank stare followed by a change of subject.

See, I want to work for a company that actually has a real game plan, not just one that says “We are putting you in charge of you!” as a way of really saying “We don’t want to take responsibility to manage so instead we have set up the computer to manage for us..”

Everything I deal with right now ends up with the same answer “What does the system say” as if it is some sort of Oracle of Delphi or, more likely, the Wizard of Oz.  Many times in my day I am asked questions by customers that they system does not have a nice neat answer laid out for, or if you do search for an answer it comes back with 364 answers.  I don’t know about you, but when you are on a call with a customer you generally don’t have time to dig through 300+ answers HOPING that one of them is what you are needing.

Nope, I need to find something different so today I am off on the hunt.  Maybe in the near future as my grip making and checkering skills get better I can live off that, but right now I’m gonna have to work for someone else a little while longer.
