Oh, was that today???

I should have marked it on my calendar and taken today off

Remember that Christian radio broadcaster who predicted May 21 would be the end of the world?

That day came and went, just like any ordinary Saturday in the spring. But it was followed by another prediction: The world will end on Oct. 21 — today.

Maybe for the next time I should purchase a Holocaust Cloak

    Unfortunately, I had to work today also. Since the hr has passed and we can once again anticipate a sunrise, I will have to report to work again on Sunday. The office has been relocated and as a member of IT, I have to assist in the cubicle setups as regards the computers and phones.

    If he had been correct, we both could have “slept in” so to speak.

    I KNOW, and it would have been much nicer than having to listen to calls from people whining about how they want an iPhone!
