Tools of the Trade

December 8th, 2011 Posted in Pistol Grips

No, not the OWS tools, these tools

Now that I have these I am ready to dive in.  So, tonight as I drive to work I’m making a quick stop at Home Depot to get some fine grain pine so that I can practice with my new toys tools and make some practice grips.

Only thing left to do after that is get the chip carving tools and the woodburning tools – those will be around tax time.  After that, here’s hoping I can make some extra cash!

When you get the new site up and running please drop me a line. I’ll post a link on my blogroll FWIW.

You going to do any custom work? I’ve got a Ruger Redhawk that’s my favorite gun. I’m having a hard time finding grips for it that I like. The Hogues are too big and the stockers pinch the web of my hand (and I just prefer wood grips on my revolvers). If you’re interested let me know.

Would love to, I’ve sent you an email about it :)
