What are your kids learning?

September 23rd, 2009 | 4 Comments | Posted in Cry FREEDOM!, I heart Michelle Malkin, Libtards

At one school, they are learning the Obama rap

I guess teaching them actual history, government, and how to think for themselves is one of those evil right wing extremist things that we can’t allow to happen.  Instead we must teach the little tykes to blindly follow our Dear Reader.

I thought this shit only happened in North Korea.

Oh, and if you try to point this out to the loony left, they will pretend it doesn’t exist or they will see nothing wrong with it.

H/T Michelle Malkin

**UPDTATE**

According to a Fox News report

School officials said Thursday the students were “singing a song about President Obama” in February “to honor the contributions of African Americans to our country.”

“The recording and distribution of the class activity were unauthorized,” wrote Christopher M. Manno, superintendent of Burlington Township School District, in a statement to parents.

One song that the children were taught quotes directly from the spiritual “Jesus Loves the Little Children,” though Jesus’ name is replaced with Obama’s: “He said red, yellow, black or white/All are equal in his sight. Barack Hussein Obama.”

Another lyric touts a fair-pay bill Obama signed in January: “He said we must be clear today/Equal work means equal pay.”

And his ‘contributions’ have been what?  Driving our debt higher in eight months than George W Bush did in eight years?  Kissing the asses of our mortal enemies while alienating our friends and throwing them to the wolves?  What wonderful accomplishments has our Dear Reader done besides being the first black president – even though I was always taught that the color of your skin doesn’t matter, it’s the character of the person that does.

And to change a song about Jesus and replace it with Obama?  I knew the left had a messiah fixation on him, but this is so far overboard that it’s vomit inducing.

“Alteredbeat,” the YouTube user who posted the video on the Internet, told FOXNews.com that the video was first put online by Charisse Carney-Nunes, an activist and author of the children’s book “I Am Barack Obama,” which her Web site says “allows children to see themselves through the inspirational story of President Obama.” Carney-Nunes has been promoting the book during visits to schools on the east coast.

A poster for the book can been seen near the stage of the auditorium in the video of Bernice Young Elementary, but it is unclear whether Carney-Nunes had visited the school or was present during the filming.

“Alteredbeat” told FOXNews.com that he reached out to Carney-Nunes, who insisted that the program had been filmed in June as part of a Father’s Day tribute to President Obama. “The kids made up the songs on their own,” she wrote, according to the YouTube user.

Right, because at that age kids are so totally into politics that they go around quoting from campaign speeches and singing songs about their favorite politician.  Sure they do, why I remember when I was a little tyke walking around singing about Jimmy Carter… sure.

Do these people really think that we are so stupid to believe that these kids came up with it?  How bout I will believe that the kids came up with it by using a LOT of help from their teachers saying “Gee, let’s sing a song about Obama, won’t that be fun?”

Anyone who doesn’t think this is an indoctrination into the ideals of the left really need to pull the blinders off.  If the lefts ideas are so good then why not just teach the kids how to think critically, How to read, write, do math, and research information using the library.  What reason do we have to have them lining up and singing political songs?

None, except to make sure the left has a new generation of foot soldiers.

Meghan McCain redefines “Epic Fail”

August 11th, 2009 | 1 Comment | Posted in I heart Michelle Malkin, Loving the GOP

I love Michelle Malkin, She’s smart, funny, well spoken and does her homework so she knows what she’s talking about. I tried picking up her new book at the store when it came in but by the time my shift ended we were out of them. I wrote to Michelle Malkin and told her of this disappointing moment in my life and she actually wrote back to me (I feel special now, and not the “special” kind of special either).

And then I wake up this morning, drive my wife to the airport (blog on that later) and as I’m flipping through Ace I see that Meghan McCain is attacking my favorite person in the press. Then, to top it off I get this email from my friend Jen:

You better jump in there, Instinct.  Meagan McCain is dissin your girl.

http://www.cassyfiano.com/2009/08/meghan-mccain-attempts-to-take-on-michelle-malkin-epically-fails

We all know that Meghan McCain is an attention whore who only got where she is because her daddy is John McCain and the press loves how she will attack everyone on the right while trying to convince us conservatives that “She’s one of us.” Problem is, every time she opens her mouth something stupid falls out.

I don’t know exactly what about me threatens them so much, other than that people are listening to me. Malkin has the No. 1 book on The New York Times bestseller hardcover nonfiction list, but I have nearly twice as many Twitter followers as she does.

Wow, Michelle Malkin (who I have a conservative crush on) is a bestselling author but because Meghan has sooo many followers on Twitter she is somehow a powerhouse force to be reckoned with. Can you say “Delusions of adequacy”? I knew you could. Who cares how many people are following you on Twitter, it’s free and (as others have said) most of it is to see how you will stick your foot in your mouth next.

No one wants Meghan to shut up because of her ideas, we would like her to shut up because her ideas (what few she throws out) are about as dumb as a screen door on a submarine.

It’s true that Democrats make being a member appealing in a much different way than the Republican Party does. The Democrats seem to have mastered inclusiveness—whereas Republicans, like a country club, seem to require a litmus test.

Meghan McCain is a prime example of someone who is famous for no other reason than who she’s related to. Her view of how the Republican Party should change is along the lines we have heard before – from the Democrats. We should be more inclusive, we should reach out more, and we should be more like the Democrats. Yea, we’ve seen the inclusiveness of the Democrats in action. They welcome diversity with closed fists as demonstrated by almost every protest rally that you have seen over Obamacare with Grandma Botox Pelosi calling those of us who oppose it ‘un-American”. They attack anyone who disagrees with them, physically assault those who don’t take their side, and do anything to try and drown out opposing viewpoints. Yea, those Democrats are so inclusive – as long as you are part of their hive mind style of organization.

Except that her dad tried that road, didn’t he? Didn’t win him an election either. In fact, the only reason a very large majority of us turned out to vote for him was because we were really voting for Sarah Palin. Yes, we LIKE Sarah Palin because she is a true conservative, and that has nothing to do with her religion or her having kids or the fact that she hunts. She is a conservative because she believes that the government should stay the hell out of people’s lives.

The old conservatives of the past need to start accepting that this is a new era and I am a part of a new generation. I am as sick of the infighting as everyone else, but I would like to point out that I am not the one starting this fight or demanding that the other half of the party leave.

REEEALLLY? You didn’t start it. Wow, you have the same kind of memory that Obambi has, Meghan. Maybe that’s why we don’t take you seriously as a Republican or a Conservative. How many conservatives like Limbaugh, Coulter and Palin have you attacked in order to get your name out there in the press? So yes, you need to shut up, not because we conservatives feel threatened by you but because you are an embarrassment to higher education. To think that you graduated from college and still have nothing to really offer the world, it’s a damn shame. You hold no conservative values and yet act like you are the new spokeswoman for the young conservatives of America. Hell, my sister in law is a better fit for that job than you, because she actually has ideas and is actually a conservative.

And I can assure them that unless they start being realistic about the cultural and generational differences between the two sides of the party, there will not be a new generation of Republicans.

Really? Then I suggest that she look at our armed forces and at the flyover country because I see more young conservatives coming up there than I do liberals. Hell, I even see young conservative beginning to appear here in the bay area the more I speak to my fellow classmates and slowly break through the BS indoctrination education they’ve received and get them thinking for themselves.

No Meghan, you are wrong. You are just another whinny liberal who is so self-absorbed you don’t even realize it. Go home and write another crappy children’s book (yes, I read it, it is crappy) because the real conservative women you hate so much could kick you to the curb in a debate over ideas without even breaking a sweat. You aren’t the voice of the new Republican party, you’re just a mouth.
