The other day the wife and I were in ‘downtown’ Alameda and as we were walking towards the intersection where Starbucks is located we saw two people standing there with clipboards, looking around like they were searching for a mark to shake down, and they were both wearing the same blue shirt with a logo I couldn’t make out at that distance.

As we got closer one of them turned, saw us and began waving like we were old friends or something even though I had never seen him before in my life. But, at the distance we were now at I could see what his shirt said.

ACLU

Now, in all honesty I planned on just walking on by and ignoring the little liberal douche, but he stepped into the middle of the sidewalk and blocked our way, the whole time smiling a stupid smile like he just humped the neighbor’s cat or something. I guess he thought that by stepping in my way would make me stop, or slow down, but instead I kept the same pace and maintained a collision course. I figured that since he was about 4” taller than me and I was 4” wider across the shoulders that the advantage was in my favor as to who would survive the impact.

At four paces away he opened his hole and began spewing out his opening line. “Hey, do you have a moment to talk a-…”

“Get out of my way, now.”

I said this is a perfectly reasonable tone of voice, the wife says that it came out more like a growl that said “I will kill you now.”

Liberal douchebag stammered, took one step back as I kept moving and then moved out of our way and up against the street light.

We got to our car, cranked up the stereo to ‘The Warrior Song’ and drove past the same corner a few minutes later as we went home. Liberal boy was still against the light post and only calling to people as they walk past him.

So again, I have done my part to keep sidewalks safe for people to travel. No need for thanks, it was my pleasure.

School has piled on, like it always does, so I’m not dead I’m just REALLY busy. This week though is spring break so I have a whole ten days to do homework.

The weather out here is warming up and the sun is shining so it looks like we are done with the rain for awhile so the windows are open and Misto is running around like she’s hopped up on crack and jumping from window shelf to window shelf and chirping each time. I think Spring is her favorite season. She’ll hang out at the windows watching and listening to the birds outside (and I am sure she is planning how to get out there and grab one of them).

In other areas, I am saddened and pissed at the health care bill passing. This is not how our government is supposed to be run. 75% of the population is against it and yet Congress rammed it through with bribes and promises. Stupak sold out for airport money, the “Cornhusker kickback” all of it is a disgusting display of corruption and to add icing to the bullshit cake, THEY are exempt from the bill. Yea, we have different rules than they do. The most “Open and Honest Congress EVAH” doesn’t have to live by the rules they pass. Gee, that doesn’t sound like “a government of the people and by the people” that Obambi was talking about at ALL!

I personally will do everything I can this coming election cycle and every one after this to drive every Democrat from office like St. Patrick did with the snakes, and there are many similarities between today’s Democrap party and a snake. I hope by the time the next election is over saying your a Democrat has the same effect as saying your a member of the KKK – Oh, wait, they already have members of the KKK in there. Then we’ll hope they become as popular as having a STD and ring worms.

I have never really been politically active, but I sure as hell have become that was since moving out here and seeing the lunacy that forms the left of our country. I have had high school students try and tell me how evil our government was for fighting in Vietnam but when I ask them very simply “Why were we over there in the first place?” They don’t know!! They have absolutely NO IDEA AT ALL! According to what they learned, we just went over there because we were a bunch of evil white guys who wanted to send the poor off to fight a war for no reason at all!

I want a new Congress, one that will de-fund all the departments that we don’t need to actually do the federal government’s business – the Department of Education, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, Amtrak, GM, Planned Parenthood, ACORN. I want all government grant programs shut down – the governments job is not to give my money away to some program they decide is worthy of it, it MY job to decide if they deserve my cash and then I can give it to them. The easiest form of corruption has been government grants – take that away and a good chunk of the problem is solved.

All I want my government spending money on is the military. That’s what they exist for – not medical research, not airports, child obesity programs, or any of that other crap. All that can be handled by the states and the local communities, and SHOULD BE! The Feds only real job is protecting us from bad guys that would want to invade and kill us – that means military. There are plenty of companies out there that would give money for medical research, homeless shelters, job training and all that other stuff if they already weren’t being taxed and burdened to their financial limit by a federal government that has decided we exist to serve them.

Well, I’m no man’s slave and I intend to make sure they understand this. I will help get every one of them thrown out of office and then I’ll help hold our new reps feet to the fire until they tear down this government that our founding fathers never wanted.

Only someone who came into existence three seconds ago could deny the twin influences of Halo: Combat Evolved and Ferngully: The Last Rainforest on James Cameron’s xenobestial masterpiece Avatar. But could Cameron’s inspirations lie deeper? It’s a classic tale – boy goes to a lush planet with toxic atmosphere, floating rocks and dragons, going native with the blue skinned natives, resisting marauding colonialists and rallying the nature god of the planet to go forth and destroy. Unfortunately, it was the plot to Firekind, a comic book series published in British sci-fi anthology 2000ad (home to Judge Dredd) in 1993.

Cameron is used to having to pay out cash for stealing ideas, hopefully this time the payout will be so big that it will be a nice kick in the nads for him.

You want to know what happens when some useless bureaucrat, who generally sits around on his ass all day generally not doing much to add to the overall efficiency of the organization he is part of, decided that he is so God-damn important that even people not under his supervision should answer to him before doing their job? Well, here’s the answer right here in San Francisco.

A San Francisco police officer was ordered out of John O’Connell High School for arresting an alleged gang member in connection with a double homicide without first consulting the principal.

Officer Joel Babbs, who is assigned to the department’s schools detail, thought he was doing his job Dec. 15, getting a potentially dangerous suspect out of the Mission District School as fast as possible and without incident.

Funny, last I remember the law is still in effect on school campuses. Also, I don’t ever remember seeing “Principal” as one of the command positions in the police department either. This douche bag principal was more worried that his little fiefdom was invaded by ‘The Man’ than he was about having a suspect in a double homicide on campus? WTF???? And why did the head dumbshit have his wee-wee on?

However, O’Connell principal Rick Duber - who told us he believes in “intervention over suspension” – said he was upset that Babbs had not informed him of the planned arrest and had handcuffed the student in public.

” I am very concerned about (Babbs’) actions,” Duber wrote in a memo to his school district superior the day of the arrest, adding that “his action today precludes any possibility of him ever returning to our campus.”

Upset that the little criminal, sorry ALLEGED criminal, was handcuffed in public… ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING? Ten to one says the little bastard has a rap sheet as long as my arm. I feel pretty safe in saying this because generally kids don’t just wake up one day and say “Gee, think I’ll help hold some people down while my friend puts a bullet in them.” I could be wrong, but I don’t think so.

But OH. MY. GOD. The little punk might have been embarrassed in front of his friends. The principal wasn’t able to give him hugs and words of encouragement. What will he do? How will he survive?? Oh, the HORROR!!! Oh, and I can see that the “intervention over suspension” really worked with this kid. He was originally not in school the day before because he showed up drunk and was sent home. Course the fact that the kid was 15 and drunk didn’t make anyone call the authorities, nope. Just because the legal drinking age is 21. Nope, no reason at all.

Just one more reason that when we have kids we will home school them, and another reason to get the hell out of this mad house.

Tori Amos thinks B Hussein Obambi is dreamy and that she is going to run for office if Sarah Palin does.

She says, “If Palin runs again, I’m going to run on a Republican ticket. What I know about Middle Eastern policy could fit on a thumbnail, but I still know more than she does. You have to ask, how could a nation nearly vote in somebody who isn’t qualified for the job?”

Well first, you insignificant twit, you are right that you don’t know shit from a hole in the ground but, just because you watched Katie Couric’s interview doesn’t mean you know a damn thing about what Sarah knows. She has managed to run a town government, a state government, negotiated deals with Canada as well as forcing oil companies to drill on the lands they had leased so that we could have the oil and natural gas we need, and did it all while raising a family with her husband. What the fuck have you done besides write some crappy songs that no one really listens to? Do you even balance your checkbook or do you have someone do that for you too?

Also, I would say that her stint as a Mayor and Governor make her a heck of a lot more qualified than the community organizer in chief who only got where he is by selling out to the highest bidder. See, by being a Mayor and a Governor she had a lot more responsibility than just voting “present”.

Second, if you’re going to run on the Republican ticket you actually have to BE a Republican and if you go that route you will prove that you are as big a joke as the Baldwin boys claiming they were going to move to Canada, France or some other fucked up country if someone they didn’t like won the election. Of course, they didn’t – much to my disappointment.

But Amos feels more positive about the future of her country now U.S. President Barack Obama is in power: “I’m a lot more hopeful. The (George W.) Bush years were really difficult times if you were an American who loved your country. Having someone now that so many people respect doesn’t mean there aren’t going to be problems, but so many problems have been left behind.”

“Someone that so many people respect”??? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME??? Who? The God Damn Terrorists? Because he sure ain’t feeling the love here, or haven’t you seen the polls recently, sunshine?

Yeah, a -16 is really a bunch o’ love for the World’s Favorite Socialist, Dr Utopia.

And what “problems” have been left behind??? The problem of actually fighting terrorists since he certainly doesn’t want to do that. Or maybe it’s the problem of us actually having jobs since he’s screwed that pooch too. Affordable health care that we can choose to have if we want? Nope, that’s gone under the wonders of Obamacare. And please don’t try and say that “Oh, the people are all for this” since 57% of people are strongly opposed to it and only 25% are for it – hell, that’s worse number that Obambi has, and that’s hard to do.

Quit dying your hair, princess, it’s affected your brain.

A woman came in last night looking for a book by some feminist author that I had never heard of before, no big surprise there. So, I look it up in our search engine and the computer says that we might have it in the store. MIGHT have it, not WILL. So I tell her that I can check our inventory and see if it’s there and show her the section it would be in.

“No, that’s fine, I’ll find it myself. I’m going to look around a bit first”

Ten minutes later, as I’m showing another customer to 1984 I run across her in Literature looking around and she barges in to the conversation I’m having with my customer and sneers “Where is the section on Women’s rights?”

I tell her again “It’s upstairs and I’ll be happy to take you to it as soon as I am done here.”

“No, I can find it myself.” Note the lack of a ‘thank you’.

Sooo, as you can probably guess, I end up helping another customer find the Christianity section, which is upstairs, and as we get to the top of the escalator that same woman is standing in the middle of Independent Readers YELLING “Is there SOMEONE ACTUALLY WORKING here who can HELP ME!!!!”

Once again (because we were slammed with customers) I offer to show her the section and she is bitching the whole way about how the women’s studies section should be near the front of the store because it’s so important and how this author’s book should be on display because she’s doing a signing tour in California right now and she’s a NEW YORK TIMES COLUMNIST!!

Well, we get there and we have no copies. She flips her shit over it and repeats how wonderful this writer is and how we should all be required to read her crap and then says “Why don’t you have 900 copies here?!?! You have plenty of room! Her book should be displayed all over the store to inspire women everywhere about what they can do!”

I had to.

I know it was wrong but what can you do when the set up is that perfect?

“Well, ma’am, we were going to but we’re saving that spot for Sarah Palin.”

**update**

Welcome to everyone from Brutally Honest, Texas4Palin, wizbang and elsewhere else in the interwebs. Thanks for the linking and I must say I am stunned that this has been so popular. Now all I can ask for is a signed copy of “Going Rogue” with the inscription “Instinct, Thanks for saving me a spot – Sarah”

That would be most awesome.

According to Debra Tate ‘no’ really doesn’t mean no after all.

Polanski was arrested Saturday in Zurich. The U.S. has been seeking his extradition for having sex with a 13-year-old girl in 1977.

Tate says Polanski did not forcibly have sex with the girl, calling it a “consensual matter.”

Yeah, great guy. We will ignore for the moment (like the left does) that the girl was well below the age of consent which means that it doesn’t matter if she thought she wanted to or not, it is still considered rape because the pedophilic bastard should have still kept his hands off of her.

Let us instead look at her statement on it to the police.

Two weeks after Polanski plied her with Champagne and a Quaalude, Samantha Gailey appeared before an L.A. grand jury and recalled Polanski’s predatory behavior in a Mulholland Canyon home owned by Jack Nicholson.

The teenager’s troubling–and contemporaneous–account of her abuse at Polanski’s hands begins with her posing twice for topless photos that the director said were for French Vogue. The girl then told prosecutors how Polanski directed her to, “Take off your underwear” and enter the Jacuzzi, where he photographed her naked. Soon, the director, who was then 43, joined her in the hot tub. He also wasn’t wearing any clothes and, according to Gailey’s testimony, wrapped his hands around the child’s waist.

The girl testified that she left the Jacuzzi and entered a bedroom in Nicholson’s home, where Polanski sat down beside her and kissed the teen, despite her demands that he “keep away.” According to Gailey, Polanski then performed a sex act on her and later “started to have intercourse with me.” At one point, according to Gailey’s testimony, Polanski asked the 13-year-old if she was “on the pill,” and “When did you last have your period?” Polanski then asked her, Gailey recalled, “Would you want me to go in through your back?” before he “put his penis in my butt.” Asked why she did not more forcefully resist Polanski, the teenager told Deputy D.A. Roger Gunson, “Because I was afraid of him.”

Gee, that sounds REALLY consensual doesn’t it? I would have killed the son of a bitch if it was my daughter this happened to. I would have hopped a plane to France and hunted him down like the fucking animal he is. I have three items in my book that should get the death penalty – murder, rape and child molestation. I don’t give a rats ass what “wonderful works” you have given to the world, once you do one of those three you have destroyed a persons life and, in many cases, they will never recover so why should we, as a society, take the chance that you won’t do it again?

That one girls life is worth a whole lot more than every Polanski movie ever made. Bastard should be ass raped by the biggest, meanest son-of-a-bitch in jail until he is a crying puddle on the floor. Yeah, I’m not a forgiving type – he RAPED a CHILD!

Oh, and here is a brilliant article on what a low life vermin Polanski truly is.
