MOVIE fans are rushing to name their babies after characters in sci-fi smash Avatar.

Choices include Neytiri – after the film’s Na’vi warrior-princess – and giant flying creature Toruk.

Another favourite is Pandora, name of the blockbuster flick’s fictional planet.

Add this to the people that are feeling depressed that the planet Pandora isn’t real

A user named Mike wrote on the fan Web site “Naviblue” that he contemplated suicide after seeing the movie.

“Ever since I went to see ‘Avatar’ I have been depressed. Watching the wonderful world of Pandora and all the Na’vi made me want to be one of them. I can’t stop thinking about all the things that happened in the film and all of the tears and shivers I got from it,” Mike posted. “I even contemplate suicide thinking that if I do it I will be rebirthed in a world similar to Pandora and the everything is the same as in ‘Avatar.’ “

Other fans have expressed feelings of disgust with the human race and disengagement with reality.

This kind of people really irritate and piss me off.  Oh, the world isn’t fucking perfect and gee maybe if I off myself I can be reborn in a perfect world.  Fine, go for it.  Don’t try and improve the world around yourself by actually DOING something productive and positive.  Don’t go and work with charities or even just assist your neighbor, no, that would be silly.  Instead sit around on your ass surfing the internet and WISHING.

This is one of the huge differences I see between myself and my liberal co-workers. (Yes, I am using a specific example of something I have personally observed).  The store gets trashed by moron customers who grab magazines, books and coffee and then leave their shit all over the place.  They let their kids run rampant in the kids section and just throw everything on the floor and of course we have to clean it all up.

My liberal co-workers look at the mess and essentially give up “Oh, we’ll never get this done so why are we even bothering?” – yes, a direct quote.  My attitude, and the attitude of my more conservative co-workers is more along the lines of “If we don’t do it, then how will it get any better on it’s own?”

The liberals say things like “We should tell the customers….” while we just dive in and work.  They are all for telling someone else to do something “They should put their stuff away themselves” but we know that the idiots won’t do that so it’s up to us.  We may not be able to change their minds, but we don’t have to live with their mess.

I see the same thing with the Avatar crap above.

The movie was so beautiful and it showed something we don’t have here on Earth

What?!  We don’t have places of wonder and beauty on this planet???  Are you fucking kidding me?  Jesus, turn on Discovery Channel sometime and you’ll see some of the most amazing places EVER and they are right here on good ol’ planet Earth.   These whining douche-nozzles never seem to appreciate what they have right in front of them, always have to look around and find some reason to have cry baby fits over stupid shit.   Grow the fuck up people!

This country was founded on the English language and that should be our OFFICIAL language.  We should not have ballots written in Spanish, Japanese, Korean or any other language.  We should conduct government business in ENGLISH.  Our kids should learn English in our schools, and I shouldn’t have to ‘Press 1 for English’.

Should our kids learn a foreign language?  Sure, but we shouldn’t have to learn one just so we can function in our own country.  Anyone who doesn’t think this man is the greatest fool since Jimmy Carter obviously hasn’t really been listening to what he is saying

No, Barack, even if your pastor wasn’t a nut (which you didn’t seem to notice for the past 20 years) and you didn’t hang around with terrorists, I don’t think you are ready for prime time.  But, I do hope you get the nomination because you’ll lose the election and after that happens we probably won’t see Hillary again and you will disappear back into the woodwork.

Extolled for his eloquence, Obama stuttered and stammered his way through the question-and-answer session. It appeared he was having an out-of-body experience.

Who knew that the greatest threat to his presidential campaign would come from the preacher who married him, baptized him, and prayed with him? Barack Obama should have known. That’s who. Take that judgment and shove it on a pretty campaign poster.

I love how Barack tries to say that he knew nothing about the radical views of his pastor even though he has been at that church for 20 years.  It’s like he’s the new Sgt. Schultz from ‘Hogan’s Heroes’

So, it comes down to this, either Barack knew that his pastor was a race baiting, hateful person OR Barack is so far out of touch that he doesn’t even know the person that he said is a “sounding board” for him to “make sure that I am speaking as truthfully about what I believe as possible”

So, which is it Barack?  Are you a liar, or a fool?

AB2062 is scheduled to be heard on Wednesday, May 7 in the Assembly Appropriations Committee.  Sponsored by State Assembly Member Kevin De Leon (D-45), AB2062 would require that law-abiding gun owners obtain a permit to buy handgun ammunition and would impose severe restrictions on the private transfers of handgun ammunition.  Applicants for a “permit-to-purchase” would be required to submit to a background check, pay a $35 fee, and wait as long as 30 days to receive the permit. 

Not only does Kalifornia law make in nearly impossible to obtain a Concealed Carry permit for the average person, now the liberals want to make sure aren’t able to buy any ammo either.   Course, they are following the lead of the biggest hypocrite and liberal of them all from here (next to Nancy Pelosi) Dianne Feinstein.

Dianne Feinstein seems to think that while the rest of us shouldn’t be able to protect ourselves, she should have that option available for herself 

“I know the urge to arm yourself because that’s what I did. I was trained in firearms. I’d walk to the hospital when my husband was sick. I carried a concealed weapon. I made the determination that if somebody was going to try to take me out, I was going to take them with me.”

Thanks for deciding that I don’t need to protect myself or my wife.  I have been trained in firearms as well, much better than Mrs. Gun Control here because I know never to put my finger on the trigger unless I intend to shoot.  I also know not to EVER point a firearm at someone at ANY TIME unless you intend to shoot them.

I urge anyone who reads this to go and write to your state senator and protest this unwarranted intrusion into our ability to defend ourselves against the criminals.  Remember, if you take all the guns away then only the criminals will have guns – just they way they want it.
